TRAFFIC ANALYST
A long established consultancy with an excellent reputation seek a Traffic Analyst for their transport planning team in Bristol.
This position is available on a full time or part-time basis to suit.
Qualified preferably to degree level, you should have a number of years solid experience in development planning. You will be familiar with transport assessments, junction analysis, traffic flow diagrams, trip distribution etc., and have gained good experience using Junctions 9 (ARCADY & PICADY), as well as LinSig.
Experience is also required of the strategic modelling package SATURN, and although it is not used in-house, you will need to be able to write the commissioning brief and interpret the results from third parties.
Whilst not essential, any knowledge or experience of micro-simulation using PARAMICS or VISSIM would be helpful.
