Salary: Band 10 £34,787 - £38,813 p.a.

37 hours per week - part time hours will also be considered

We have an exciting opportunity for 2 Transport Planners with experience in project management to join our team.

One will be working on projects to deliver the city's Air Quality Local Plan to achieve compliance with legal limits for nitrogen dioxide and be responsible for the development and delivery of transport based solutions to deliver local air quality policy and strategy across the city. You will be working on high profile projects in a fast paced environment, engaging with councillors, external stakeholders, public transport operators and residents to solve complex and challenging problems.

The other will be responsible for the provision of expert advice on strategic transport issues. This role has a focus on the development of transport strategy, including delivery of our new Local Transport Plan. As well as developing emerging transport policy and strategy your work will help to shape a number of high profile pieces of work. You will engage and consult with members, external stakeholders and residents on transport planning issues addressing varied and complex queries/issues raised.
