PRINCIPAL TRANSPORT PLANNER – GRADE PO6
Transport development in Leeds is moving at a fast pace with a pipeline of major investments with over £500 million worth of projects including new public transport investments, highways, active travel and city centre place making preparing for a future which includes HS2. This is a key role in taking forward the transport strategy and tackling the climate emergency declared by the Council.

The position will support the programme portfolio with an emphasis on the co-ordination and technical leadership of development and feasibility across a varied and challenging strategy and project workload. To meet our requirements you are likely to be a graduate with supervisory experience, and a strategic thinker and communicator with a strong transportation engineering and planning track record, who can share our ambitions for the city.
