We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to work on crucial, regionally significant, transport infrastructure development projects, playing a central role in supporting the growth and economic recovery of the region.
This role will sit within the UK Central Programme Management Office which is responsible for delivering the Council’s Growth and Development Investment Programme in support of West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) and government funded workstreams. The programme includes of a wide variety of development, transport and energy infrastructure projects of varying scale and complexity - www.investinukcentral.com.
As Senior Project Manager for UK Central, you will plan and manage the development and delivery of strategic transport projects, working closely with technical leads within the Council’s Transport Infrastructure Commissioning Team, to ensure they are designed and delivered to the required scope and quality, within budget and on time.
Educated to HNC (Level 4) or above in a relevant subject, you will be able to demonstrate relevant work experience in complex housing, regeneration and development related project or programme management.
Well versed in project management processes, your will have a track record of successfully managing multiple and complex projects, especially associated with transport infrastructure and development.
