Have you recently been involved in the development or implementation of strategic transport or active and sustainable transport measures? Are you looking for your next challenge?

In a borough undergoing the largest regeneration project in the UK, you will play a key role in the planning and delivery of new transport infrastructure to enable sustainable growth and addressing a range of other community strategy objectives.

As an individual with a wealth of knowledge and experience, you will assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of transport policies and strategies. In addition to planning, liaison and delivery of the strategic transport team’s functions, you will have the opportunity to develop and support innovative new transport projects.

Thurrock, with its riverside location and transport links is a fast growing economy supported by major developments, including the new London Gateway Port, and proposed expansion of the Port of Tilbury. The changes taking place over the next decade will ensure Thurrock prospers for years to come.

The success of the regeneration and growth agenda in Thurrock relies on the strength of the transport infrastructure around it. The Senior Transport Planner post is a key part of the Transport Development team.
