This post will initiate, manage and monitor innovative and transformative project development in order to ensure that the council’s Transportation Services section can continue to function efficiently and cost-effectively into the future.
You will lead on projects designed to improve the quality and efficiency of the services provided by Transportation Services including steering the activities of multi-disciplinary project teams and developing and monitoring Travel Plans. You must also be able to identify and develop opportunities to secure additional funding in support of public transport including developer contributions.
Experience of working in a passenger transport environment, delivering service transformation, achieving cost efficiencies and implementing complex administrative processes are all essential.
Based at Beverley Depot for 37 hours per week.
