Salary Grade H: £66,400 to £75,880 per annum including London Weighting (depending on experience/performance)

A vacancy has arisen for the Head of Projects & Programmes within the City Operations Division. The post will lead on and manage the delivery of capital projects to facilitate change to the City’s streets and spaces; including projects to support development activity. The postholder will ensure project governance and processes are managed to secure successful delivery.
The postholder will ensure the City’s statutory duties are met, the needs of developers are balanced with the needs of the public and to deliver high quality outcomes to enhance the Square Mile.
You will also take responsibility for the detailed delivery of this capital programme including project prioritisation, funding, resource allocation, communication, and engagement.
You will lead on and manage the delivery of capital projects & programmes aligned to the Corporation’s Transport Strategy, Climate Action Strategy, Road Danger Reduction Plan, Public Realm SPD, Lighting Strategy and Local Implementation Plan to ensure the City’s streets, spaces and transport are fit for purpose and designed and managed in line with organisational objectives.
