Ellen Cumber has been appointed Better Connected Implementation Policy Lead at the DfT.
The Government's much anticipated integrated transport policy was published on 2 April.
The strategy is made up of a set of priorities which underpin how the DfT expects transport to be designed, built and operated in future.
Cumber commented on LinkedIn: “After speaking to (quite literally) hundreds of people about Better Connected over the last few months, I'm excited to start this new chapter and continue working alongside a brilliant team as we move from strategy to delivery!”
Cumber has been at the department for six years, and prior to her new role was Senior Policy Advisor.
