Be where it all happens.
Here at the heart of a vibrant city, we’re working to improve air quality. As the capital grows, it’s more important than ever that those that live, work and visit the capital breathe clean, pollution-free air.
As Principal Policy Officer for Air Quality, you’ve got a big part to play. In fact, you’ll be at the forefront of thinking on air quality policy. It’s your chance to make a huge difference to the wellbeing of millions of people. Your main task will be to lead, coordinate and manage our strategic air quality work. This means you’ll be overseeing our pioneering Marylebone Low Emission Neighbourhood (MLEN) scheme. With your help, we’ll be viewed as a leading authority on local air quality improvement.
Specifically, you’ll:
You’ve shown that you can develop policies and strategies to further the air quality agenda. Plus, you can deliver high quality projects and build relationships with all sorts of stakeholders. Your expertise is built on a relevant degree (or equivalent) and knowledge of air pollution. Now you’re keen to use your talents to influence air quality at the heart of London. Comfortable in a fast-paced setting, writing policy and managing political relationship, you’ll share our drive to deliver real environmental improvements.
If you’re as productive as you are ambitious and collaborative as you are enterprising, this is your chance to take real ownership of your work, right in the heart of iconic Westminster, a true ‘City for All’. This is a unique place where it all happens and where it could all happen for you.
