Are you looking for an exciting career opportunity that will truly make a difference in East Sussex both today and for future generations?
A role in highways, is a role that is going to make a difference.
Almost everyone in the County will use part of the highway network every day. As soon as someone steps out their house, drives their car or walks to school they are using our network.
We recognise the vital importance of the Highway network, not only to the economic growth of the county but to keep local communities safe and connected. The local highway network is the most valuable publicly owned asset managed by ESCC.
As a local authority we are always pushing the boundaries in terms of innovation, ensuring we continue to look at new ways of working and introduce fresh ideas, whether that be the materials we use in our roadworks, our processes or communications.
With such a vast network of assets, including roads, footways, street lights, structures and traffic signals, there is huge amount of work to do to keep the network safe and maintained to support residents and communities.
