Your New Role
As the Analyst, you will be part of the Regeneration Directorate and you will support the SEHRT Programme Tranche 2 in delivery of the monitoring and evaluation plans and benefits realization. Moreover, there will be the requirement to support the programme management functions by collating, analysing and presenting information to inform the delivery.

This role will be within the Transport department and be line managed by the Principal Analyst and will be responsible for managing processes for programme management and evaluation, reporting and governance. You will be the subject expert on the link between the benefits of the programmes and their monitoring and evaluation plans and assist with the set up of clear processes that enable decision making by the Senior Delivery Managers, Principal Analyst and Programme Manager. You will update mechanisms that allow for critical issues to be highlighted, thus allowing for effective programme management.

What you’ll need to succeed
You will need a relevant degree level education or demonstrable equivalent professional experience, as well as experience of utilizing and analysing qualitative and quantitative data sources. You will have well-developed skills for coordination and liaising with relevant parties along with experience of developing monitoring and evaluation tools. You will ideally have experience of undertaking transport project appraisals and communicate messages clearly, concisely and at a level appropriate to the audience. You will have the proven ability to represent the service at internal/ external meetings, with integrity and confidence, and demonstrate high levels of verbal communication and reasoning, putting forward persuasive and compelling arguments. You will have excellent writing skills including the ability to write clear, basic and appropriate information for reports and briefing papers and be able to work independently and proactively, along with the ability to prioritise.
