Westminster City Council, working closely with partners including Transport for London, is committed to transforming Central London's streets to make them safer, healthier and more sustainable. This includes delivering high-quality cycling infrastructure, improving bus reliability and journey times, reducing road danger, supporting cleaner air, and encouraging more people to walk, cycle and use public transport.

The Kerbside Programme Officer plays a key role in delivering this ambition by leading the development and implementation of the Council's cycle routes programme, alongside a range of bus priority and road safety schemes. The role involves managing projects from concept through to construction, working with a wide range of stakeholders, consultants and contractors to ensure successful delivery in a complex urban environment.
