An exciting opportunity to play a central role with the Traffic Team in the improvement and maintenance of the highway network within Oxfordshire, you will be involved with the introduction of new traffic schemes along with the maintenance of traffic signs and road markings within the County.

We are looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic professional with proven experience of the technical elements and legislation around the implementation from inception to completion of a variety of traffic and highway related schemes, e.g. Traffic Calming, bus stops, crossings, speed limit changes, junction improvements, & traffic signs and road marking schemes.

There will also be an expectation for you to take on general traffic maintenance duties, including maintenance of signs and lines on the highway network.

You will be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision whilst working as part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the highway network.

The post holder is responsible for ensuring that all relevant county policies and procedures are adhered to and concerns are raised in accordance with these policies.
