Wales Manager (Secondment cover)
Salary range: £35,966 - £40,722 per annum pro-rata

Hours: 21 or 28 hours per week | Fixed term contract to 30 June 2022:

We are Living Streets, the UK charity for everyday walking.

We want to create a nation where walking is the natural choice for everyday, local journeys; free from congested roads and pollution, reducing the risk of preventable illnesses and social isolation. We want to achieve a better walking environment and to inspire people of all generations to enjoy the benefits the simple act of walking brings.

Join us and together we will create a walking nation.

We are looking for an experienced person to drive forward Living Streets strategy to expand our presence in Wales. The post holder will represent the organisation in Wales and, with the support of colleagues, will identify and pursue opportunities to increase our impact, influence and income. This will include developing our relationships with local authorities, Welsh Government and Members of the Senedd.

We are open to direct recruitment or a secondment for those currently working in local authorities, government departments or those looking to gain experience in the not-for-profit sector currently working in related thematic areas.
