Job Title: Project Manager

Location: County Wide

Salary Range: £34,788 pa Progressing to £38,813 pa

Hours: 37 per week

Contract: 2 years Fixed Term/ Secondment Opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team.  This new, exciting role will directly support our Contract Manager and work with partners to develop and deliver elements of the SEN Home to School Transport programme.

The Environment and Infrastructure department touches the lives of everyone who lives in, works in and visits Hertfordshire. The department works closely with partners to deliver services such as Waste Management, Highways, Transport and Development Management to ensure the wellbeing of our residents and businesses.

We are looking for a project manager who is proactive, self-motivated and who actively seek opportunities to deliver sustainable change. This role will appeal to you if you thrive on managing multiple projects and stakeholders, are resilient, and have a proven ability to manage and direct complex activity and can confidently, clearly and effectively communicate and deliver change.

If you’re considering this role, you will:

Have a degree or professional qualification, and/or relevant experience of project management in a large organisation and a proven ability to facilitate change;

Be able to demonstrate a variety of project management and business improvement techniques and approaches such as Agile, Prince2 and MSP;

Be able to motivate and inspire colleagues and evidence successful negotiating and influencing skills to work collaboratively in a project environment.
