The Policy and Regulation Team carry out the consultation process for Traffic Regulation Orders to allow creation, removal or changes to double yellow lines, disabled bays, traffic restrictions, speed limits etc. They also manage applications for Pavement Licences for premises with tables and chairs on the highway and provide basic advice on traffic management schemes such as traffic calming.

 

We are looking for a Lead Technician to provide support to Engineers in the preparation of consultation material. The role would be ideal for an enthusiastic individual who has experience in local government practices and procedures including dealing with Members and the public and has the ability to work with minimal supervision and to plan and prioritise their own workload to meet the teams timescales.

This is a Fixed term post for two years. Closing date for applications is Thursday 14th January with interviews in February 2016.
