Yn y rôl hon byddwch yn gyfrifol am un o'r tri model trafnidiaeth rhanbarthol yng Nghymru. Bydd y modelu y byddwch chi'n ei reoli yn helpu i ddiffinio trafnidiaeth ledled Cymru. Yn fewnol, cewch eich adnabod fel Uwch Fodelydd Trafnidiaeth. Byddwch yn gweithio ar y cyd â chyflenwyr allanol i ddatblygu'r model, ond chi hefyd fydd yr unigolyn cyswllt o ran modelu trafnidiaeth strategol ar gyfer awdurdodau lleol a Llywodraeth Cymru.

Cyfrifoldebau’r Swydd
Mae hon yn rôl fawr mewn tîm bach, sydd â'r dasg o reoli offer dadansoddi trafnidiaeth ar gyfer Cymru gyfan.

Byddwch yn chwarae rôl arweiniol wrth ddatblygu ein modelau trafnidiaeth rhanbarthol. Byddwch yn ein helpu i ddatblygu, cynnal a gweithredu'r model hwnnw, gan werthu ei fuddion i Lywodraeth Cymru a chleientiaid eraill yn y sector cyhoeddus.

Bydd angen i chi feddwl yn eang ac yn rhagweithiol, gan ddefnyddio modelau rhanbarthol i'n helpu i ragweld anghenion y rhwydwaith trafnidiaeth yn y dyfodol. Meddwl am ffyrdd, rheilffyrdd, bysiau ac effaith gronnus datblygiadau ar raddfa fawr, a sut mae hyn yn effeithio ar y rhwydwaith ledled Cymru.

Byddwch yn darparu cyngor arbenigol drwy gynnal gwaith modelu amlfodd a strategol ar ran ein cleientiaid. Wrth gwrs, bydd rhywfaint o'r gwaith hwn yn cael ei wneud wrth ddesg, ond rhan fawr o'r rôl hon yw sicrhau eich bod yn meithrin perthynas waith dda gyda'ch rhanddeiliaid allweddol. Bydd angen y cysylltiadau hyn arnoch i sicrhau eich bod yn deall eu gofynion yn llawn ac yn gallu dylanwadu pan fo angen.

Bydd gennych brofiad a gwybodaeth fanwl o fodelu trafnidiaeth strategol. Byddwch chi'n gallu mynd i'r afael â phroblemau mewn modd creadigol, gan weithio’n hyblyg i’ch helpu i reoli blaenoriaethau sy’n cystadlu â’i gilydd mewn cwmni uchel ei broffil sy’n datblygu’n gyflym.

Senior Transport Planner
Location: Wrexham & Cardiff

Introduction
In this role you’ll be responsible for one of the three regional transport models in Wales. The modelling you’ll be managing will help to define transport across Wales. Internally you’ll be known as a Senior Transport Modeller. You’ll be working collaboratively with external suppliers to develop the model, but you’ll also be the go-to person for strategic transport modelling for local authorities and Welsh Government.

Role responsibilities
This is a big role in a small team, that has the task of managing transport analytical tools for Wales as a whole.

You’ll take a leading role in developing our regional transport models. You’ll help us to develop, maintain and operate that model, selling it’s benefits to Welsh Government and other public sector clients.

You’ll need to think widely and proactively, using regional models to help us forecast the future needs of the transport network. Thinking about road, rail, bus and the cumulative impact of large-scale developments and how this impacts the network across Wales.

You’ll provide expert advice by conducting multimodal and strategic modelling on behalf of our clients. Of course some of this work will be completed behind a desk, but a large part of this role is making sure you build good working relationships with your key stakeholders. You’ll need these relationships to make sure you fully understand their requirements and are able to influence when necessary.

Who we’re looking for
You’ll have in-depth experience and knowledge of strategic transport modelling. You’ll be able to tackle problems creatively, working flexibly to help you manage competing priorities in a high profile, fast moving company.

You’ll need to have:
o Experience in Transport Modelling
o Experience in SATURN or VISUM
o Experience in at least one of transport economics, transport appraisals (WelTAG or WebTAG) or transport evaluation
o Experience working with, delivering for and building relationships with external clients

It would be beneficial if you also have:
o Experience of working with public sector clients
o Project management experience
