We enable the North to speak with one voice on the transport infrastructure investment needed to drive transformational growth and rebalance the UK economy.

Our role is to add strategic value by ensuring that funding and strategy decisions about transport in the North are informed by local knowledge and requirements.

As a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer you will lead on implementing TfN’s Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Strategy. This will involve implementing TfN’s M&E Framework, by tracking and reporting on performance of a set of targets and indicators to measure progress towards achieving the objectives of the STP, including providing support to annual STP Action Plan reviews. You will support with establishing processes to communicate M&E evidence on the progress towards pan-Northern targets and the contribution of TfN’s activities, ensuring that this evidence informs policy making, appraisal processes and business case development.
