An exciting opportunity has just arisen with one of our clients in West Yorkshire for a Senior Engineer with experience of highway projects for developments.

Candidates should ideally be degree qualified, preferably in civil engineering or similar, and have previous experience in working within a multi-discipline team. Our client specifically requires candidates with the following experience :-

Proven design experience on highways for developments
Section 278 and 38 Agreements
Project Management, able to deliver projects to quality, time and budget
Proficient in using AutoCAD and familiar with WINdes and Civils 3D
A good understanding of H & S including CDM responsibilities
Able to deal directly with clients
Assisting in the preparation of bids and proposals
DMRB, TSRGD and Traffic Signs Manual
Mentoring of junior staff

Although not essential, any skills gained in traffic modelling and the interrogation of outputs, urban realm design and the planning process and associated procedure both pre and post approval, would be welcome.

Ideally, you will be either working towards gaining Chartered status, or already be Chartered.

Excellent technical and communication skills are essential.
