This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Transport Planner to join a dynamic team in West Yorkshire, with the opportunity to work on an exciting range of projects across the country.

You will need to have a good all round technical knowledge of all aspects of transport planning for developments, from strategic appraisals through to transport assessments, travel planning and traffic engineering. A thorough understanding of transport related software, such as ARCADY, PICADY, TRANSYT, and/or LinSig etc. is also required. You will be an excellent communicator, and able to work closely with both private and public sector clients as well as multi-disciplinary teams.

The successful candidate will be degree qualified in a relevant discipline. You will be proficient in the delivery of development transport projects to the satisfaction of clients, and be able to work in a team with minimal supervision.

Membership of a relevant professional body, or near to achieving chartered status, would be desirable, and an M.Sc in a related subject would be an advantage. The successful candidate will be able to manage junior transport planning and technical staff, to develop their skills and technical knowledge.

Excellent career prospects are available for a determined and enthusiastic individual. A negotiable salary will be offered depending on experience, probably in the range of £34-40,000 p.a., plus a comprehensive benefits package.
