This role is based within the Highways Service and provides an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to be part of a professional and motivated team.

You will be required to lead the delivery of highway improvements and maintenance projects across South Cambridgeshire and the City of Cambridge. We are looking for a candidate who has experience of delivering a wide range of highway projects and who can deliver the Council’s objectives, engage with key partners and ensure that engagement with communities and businesses is at the heart of the service.

As an Engineer you will have experience of the development, planning, design and implementation of transport infrastructure with strong project management and communication skills. Extensive knowledge of technical and contractual requirements is also a key aspect of this role.
