An exciting role for an experienced Pedestrian Planner / Modeller is now available with our client, a multi-discipline consultancy, in their Leeds office.
Degree qualified in a relevant discipline, you will be experienced in transport modelling and have some hands-on experience using either LEGION Spaceworks or VISWALK. A knowledge and awareness of relevant pedestrian planning guidance and static capacity assessment techniques is also expected.
The role is varied and interesting, and will include model building, calibration/validation, model testing and auditing, and output analysis. For most of the time you will work in multi-discipline project teams, and will prepare and contribute to client reports and technical papers.
Good communication skills are essential, especially when speaking to a non technical audience at meetings and presentations, or when producing written reports.
